Matthew 7:13-14

Enter in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in through it. Because narrow is the gate and straight is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. ~ Matthew 7:13-14

Update - May 8, 2010

Subject: Dramatic Christian Ministries/Narrow Gate Theatre Weekly Prayer Letter - 05-08-2010

If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.

1 John 4:15

Praise Updates:

1. Services Last Week - Dennis was in Australia last week and did a service at Concrete Innovative Church in Sydney. It was amazing! People responded to the salvation message from the Book of James and in the 2nd wave of God’s power, everybody in the congregation received the prayer ministry at the altar. They were bringing the helpers from Sunday school too! Josh Reid, a film-maker and radio station manager filmed the presentation and he was so very supportive of Dennis as he stayed with him and his family for a few days before the film shoot of “Job”.

2. Sydney Film Trip – The Book of Job pre-production shoot went extremely well. It was done in a very short time because every take was fantastic! This group is very prayerful and we called on the Lord for every aspect, before, during and after the shoot. Unity in the Spirit was the byproduct and the blessing of this shoot. Jason Blaiklock, the film- maker and his Bella were such a blessing to work with and to fellowship with. They shared so much of themselves through this project and their hospitality. We are planning to finish the project in December of 2010. We are also making plans with Jason to film Narrow Gate Theatre live productions in Sydney when we go out there in December.

3. We were handed a blessing when Dennis got home and are scheduled to be at Rock Rio church in Rio Rancho for Mother’s Day presenting the Book of Acts. This was totally unscheduled and we are so thankful to serve the Lord in our home town whenever we can.

Prayer Needs For This Week & Next Week:

1. Continued prayer for the new Narrow Gate Theatre production of "My Wonderful Coma" , we are planning another general reading next week, Monday 5/10 at 7pm, Sandia Baptist Church.

2. Continued premier screening of the movie Dennis was in, "Suing the Devil", will be on Thurs. May 13th in Los Angeles at the Darryl F. Zanuck Theatre, Fox Studios, 10201 W Pico Boulevard. We will be there and are very excited about it.

3.Continued prayer is needed for the upcoming The God of Hope Project in September in Ft. Wayne, IN. Please click on this link to learn more about this project. Dennis will be playing the part of Moses.

4. Dennis will be in MA. on May 23rd at First Light Church on Cape Cod. Pastor David Otis and his wife Judy are dear friends of ours for many years since seminary in 1986. Judy has cancer and we are asking all of you to pray for her healing. At this point her hope is in God and God alone and we give Him all the praise and glory for that.

Dennis had such a blessed trip to Australia and Wendy had such peace and zero anxiety about this trip even though he was on the other side of the world. We know that the power of prayer and the love of God’s saints have made all the difference. We want to wish you all a very happy and blessed Mother’s Day. You are all a blessing to your mothers and to your children because you belong to God and “we are His offspring.”

Many Warm Blessings,

Dennis & Wendy Cole
