Matthew 7:13-14

Enter in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in through it. Because narrow is the gate and straight is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. ~ Matthew 7:13-14

Love Extravagantly

From Our Friends from Kenya, Isaac & Emily Mukwey - Please pray for the ministry they are doing and for the loss of Isaac's father recently. These are very special people.
-----------------------------
Dear Dennis & Wendy,

Thank you again for the loverly words and blessing words and also about my dad. Yes now things are quite,in town like Nakuru and Eldoret and others as well as Webuye but now we are experiencing more from the father. We rise up Oh warriors of God and declare this day the power of He who has risen and conquered death, hell, and the grave. Let us not be victims of what the news says, or allow our government to be dictated by the financial means of the politicians, but by the people of God who have been called by His name. Let us humble ourselves to come into the unity of His faith declaring, "through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear" (Heb. 11:3). Let us come out of our complacency and get passionate to be the ambassadors of our Heavenly Father taking back what the locusts have tried to rob from God's children. The earth belongs to our Heavenly Father, and the fullness of it. It is up to us to know who we are in Christ Jesus and allow the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts to be the voice of our Father that says it. and it is so.

We are praying for you that the lord will bring you to Kenya one day so that we share together the message of the kingdom not only I and you but I with your and you with your people. We are praying for these and we believe one day this day will come for us to meet face to face.

We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love."And God said." (Genesis 1) and it was done.

Be blessed in Christ Jesus,
In his loveIsaac and Emily

Dear Isaac & Emily,

Thanks for your beautiful words of love and for proclaiming God’s truth. We couldn’t resist but to publish your email on our blog - http://dcministries.blogspot.com/2008/07/love-extravagantly.html - and pray that many will come and read what you wrote and be blessed as we are by your ministry in Jesus.

We are glad to hear that things are quieting down for you. We are negotiating to get to Africa and have another friend who has a ministry in Nigeria who is urging us to come. If we can get there we will do our best to combine stops to include seeing you all in Kenya. We are praying for February or March of 2009 as the Lord leads, directs and provides.

Our ministry is reaching out to more and further than ever before and we are confident that the Lord has a meeting with you in the near future. Thanks for your faithful love and prayers for us and know that you are lovingly and faithfully in our prayers as well. Time and distance do not separate us for we are all one in the Lord Jesus, the creator of time, distance and all that exists.

Blessings on you, your families. Greet each other with a holy kiss.

Love, Dennis and Wendy
